How can dive and kayak?
Only Windering. Our school is having one of those things. You're suppose to learn to swim well, I did. Well, if u Register in this, then you do not do PE Can someone explain how to do both? The diving and kayaking?

hi i think i nearly killed myself?
i was filling the bathroom sink with water and on the other hand i accidently switched on my vibrator. one thing led to another and it fell into the water. i nearly went to dive my hand to retrieve it but thought better of it. now the vib is battery-powered and was turned on. just wondering, would i have gotten an electric shock?
good to know, great. but, something else, if it wasn’t battery powered but wallpluggedin and it fell in anyway – naturally it would stop vibrating and shortcircuit. and of course i wouldn’t be too stupid to retrieve it. should i switch it off at the socket and THEN put my hand in to get it – would the water still be electrified even after it was turned off? i’m starting to think of toasters in teh tub but this is quite different
No, you would not have gotten a shock. FYI – they do make water-proof vibrators you can take into the shower with you. Their awesome is you’ve never used one in the shower. The wife goes crazy!

Dive Bcd
Looking for my first BCD?
I am looking to by my first bcd and iv been looking at the Cressi Aquapro R. Is this a good bc? I don’t have the money to keep buying new bc’s so i want the bc to last, should i be worried with this bc? I live in Florida so i dive in the gulf, also we have some springs up north that stay 68F all year round.
Iv also been looking at the Cressi-Sub Aqualight R BCD. Please can you give me some advice on which to get, preferably from self experience? Also is there some kind of failures i should be worried about that can happen at greater depths?
Please if you don’t recommend either of these, please refer me to a different one in that same price range, that are also weight integrated.

You say you don’t want to keep buying a new BC , so why are you limiting yourself to travel or entry level BC’s? You mention “depth” so I assume you’re eventually moving up from an OW cert to something more, perhaps eventually even into tech. That’s what you need to think about. Something that will do for your dives now but can be easily configured for more serious diving, yet still breaks down into a small package for lugging around. If you do plan on going further with your certs then read on.
There are three manufacturers that come to mind. Dive Rite, OMS and Halcyon. Dive Rite in particular.
They offer what’s called a Trans Pac harness. A weight integrated (or not…it’s up to you if you want to install the pockets or not) BC in a back inflation rig. You can swap out the wings for whatever dive configuration you want. There are travel wings, normal lift recreational wings and wings for doubles. It takes just a few minutes to swap back and forth, even if your going doubles with the back plate. D rings all over the place for extra gear or pony bottles, and optional crotch straps.
The Halcyon and OMS offer similar features and in the case of the OMS harness you can use Dive Rite wings on it, since they’re essentially the same but the OMS wings are a bit more expensive and as far as I know… OMS doesn’t offer a travel wing like Dive Rite does.
I have no idea what price you’re being offered for those Cressi’s so there’s no way for me to compare without your telling me but for the above BC’s I mentioned the OMS is by far the most expensive of the three but is also considered top dog by many tech divers. The Dive Rite TransPac is just as good in my opinion but costs considerably less at about 800 bucks all in with a wing. You can often find the harness alone, used for under 100 bucks. A pal of mine did last week and my second TransPac harness ( I own two and an OMS) cost me 25 bucks WITH a doubles wing. Gotta like that. 
I just had to replace a sticky inflater button on one of the hoses. Deals are out there for this type of gear and as long as you have someone who knows his stuff look over it you can get an awesome bargain on a BC that will last you a lifetime and accommodate any future dive plans you have. These rigs will also be just peachy for an OW diver. You just put on what you’ll need for the dive.
